el cielo más hermoso

el cielo más hermoso is a series of collaborative interviews that act as a prologue to a larger narrative of border-crossings for latinx nationals living in the US. The subjects decided how and where they would recount their stories of escape, migration, and refuge. The border artist works at the edges of diaspora, the work acts as a rumination on my own narrative of witnessing and enacting crossings, the everyday life of an immigrant, and what kinds of documentation allow for one to truly live.
